After reading a test report, the developer can rate it. Your average rating will be visible to developers when they choose beta testers, hence, a good rating increases your chance to test future applications.

When the developer uploads an app and starts the test you will receive an email with a link to our mobile website m.thebetafamily.com. Open this email in your iOS or Android device, and you will access the download link. Click download and the app will be installed on your device.

Your iOS device (Android does not use UDID) has an Unique Device Identifier, called UDID. This is a sequence of 40 letters and numbers which is specific to your device.
Why do we need your UDID Number? All UDIDs need to be in the application file to be able to install it. The developer will insert your UDID in the application for you.
How do I find my UDID number?
When adding your device to TBF, the UDID it will automatically we saved to your profile.
If you would like to add it manually we recommend the app Ad Hoc Helper the app will start your e-mail client an show your device information and UDID. Send this mail to yourself and copy and paste it when you add a device on TBF.
